PASS PLUS

pass plus

Pass plus was designed and introduced in 1995 by the DSA.It was conceived because statistically a newly qualified driver is more likely to have an accident within the first two years of passing their test that at any other time in their driving career. You must have passed the practical driving test to be eligible for pass plus.

It consists of six driving modules, each one not less that one hour in duration. The modules are as follows.Town driving, adverse weather driving, night time driving, dual carriageway driving, rural driving and the motorway aspect. Some might be covered by a theory lesson only, such as night time or adverse weather, as these conditions might not be applicable at the time. There is no test at the end of the course, but your instructor will assess your competence in each module, and mark your form as such. When the instructor is happy that competency has been achieved in all modules, then the form will be completed and sent by the student to the DSA who will in turn send you a certificate of proof of completion of the course. This is then usually given to the insurance company of the student who will in reward for taking further training, offer a discount of up to 30%.Although this rate can vary.

At LEARN2PASS we offer pass plus to all students who have passed their test with us for a very competitive price of £100
