WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU
You will be met at your accommodation by your instructor on the first morning of your chosen course. You will then have your driving licence checked and your instructor will ask you to read a regulation number plate from the required distance of 20.5 metres (67 feet). This is a legal requirement. If you do wear glasses or contact lenses you must bring these with you and wear them as necessary.
If you have the photocard style of license you must bring both card AND paper counterpart with you. If you do not have both of these documents your course cannot take place until you obtain a replacement. A theory or practical driving test cannot take place without the correct documentation.
If you have an old style driving licence (a non photocard type) then you will need to bring a valid passport, along with your licence, with you.
